- Stickle Ghyll is accessed by 4 steps
- Travel cot and highchair are available to rent on request for an additional £10 per item (please bring your own linen for the travel cot, as this is not provided). Travel cot will fit in both bedrooms.
- Hen and Stag parties are not permitted at this lodge or on the Park
- A security deposit is required at this property for all single sex groups under the age of 25 and for a group booking of 3 or more under the age of 21

Located in the Lakeside area (Lakeside 8A) of the park with fabulous lake views as well as close to many picnic areas and the marina. White Cross Bay is a family holiday park on the shores of Lake Windermere, a great location for a stay in the Lakes.

Good:
A modern, clean and very well equipped kitchen
Excellent situation in the holiday park with peaceful and beautiful views
Holiday park just a short drive away from both Ambleside and Windermere but not walking distance (for us with children)
Excellent customer service - needed to call them twice and they were very responsive and attended immediately
Good heatingRoom for improvement:
A bit rough round the edges
Decking area could do with power washing - very slippery and a bit grimy
Mild Drainage/plumbing smell in bathrooms
Furnishings in living room are a bit grubby (sofa could do with replacing)
Hot tub cover blocks view when hot tub in use but can but pulled off and moved out of the way with a bit of effort!
WiFi temperamentalNeeds better instructions to lodge within the park ie 8a Lake View as opposed to the lodge nameAll this being said, we would return again and had a wonderful time
But the heating was not working on one of the days and could not control from the property, the controls were not workingGood customer service
